Song of Solomon 1:1-2

The Song of Solomon, 1902
The Song of Solomon, 1902

Song of Solomon 1:1-2
The song of songs, which is Solomon's.
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.

Of all the songs that Solomon wrote this is the only one that was put in the Bible. God preserved this portion of the songs that the wisest man ever wrote. It must be pretty important for us to hear if God saved this one for us for so many years.
Revelation speaks of many who have "left their first love" they did not lose it they left it.
If you have left Jesus, "come back" to the best.

The Song begins...
The story of intimate love between our Savior Jesus and our very own hearts.
A kiss, in a physical sense... on the mouth ...is a very intimate thing. Such a wonderful thing is reserved for husband and wife, to be enjoyed within a marriage between a man and a woman.
(Which is important to note since the world tells otherwise these days)

Many turn to wine and alcohol to drown their sorrows and many are encouraged to do so when life gets hard, and is offered as a fix all to problems that cannot be fixed or dealt with.
Our Father in heaven offers something much better, He offers His love.

"Thy love is better than wine"

The kiss of grace on our lives from our Jesus is better than anything this world has to offer.

Taste and see that the Lord...He is good...all the time!

Blessings, Lady
